Integral Transpersonal Counseling and Soft Skills

Integral Transpersonal Counseling and Soft Skills

Before we talk about transpersonal counseling it is necessary to do some premises

Counseling

Il term counseling (or even counseling in British English) indicates a professional activity that tends to guide, support and develop the client's potential. It promotes active, proactive attitudes and stimulating the ability to choose.

The counseling relationship is one non-directive helping relationship. It is founded on a active and empathic listening which, in an atmosphere of attention and respect, focuses on the "customer" with his needs.

It enhances the potential for change, the ability to autonomously identify responses that modify one's own existential situation, which broaden one's vision of the world and consequently one's ability to choose.

Il Transpersonal counselor has the task of guide the client through the delicate steps of the evolution of consciousness.

Lets leave gradually personal problems, to venture into the archetypal territories where the dimensions of existential meaning, of spiritual experience, of the most genuinely human qualities, of hypersensitivity and of non-ordinary states of consciousness reside.

The Transpersonal Movement

For several decades, a new movement of thought has been developing in various fields of knowledge, in particular in psychology and pedagogy, medicine and ethno-psychiatry, anthropology and art. This movement, supported by the achievements of modern physics, research on states of consciousness and ancient spiritual traditions based on meditation, deals not only with the problems of the individual, but above all with his potential and higher qualities.

This is the Transpersonal Movement based on the presuppositions of new science and ancient traditions and on what Bohm defines as "a new order understanding", produced by the mastery of inner experience, fruit of insight.

In its research, the Transpersonal Movement integrates the experience of Western scientific thought with that of mystical traditions based on meditation, and with that of shamanic practices based on ecstasy and direct contact with the forces of nature.

Integral vision

In ancient times, the primordial yearning of the human being to understand nature and to harmonize with it gave birth to the first "religions of nature", for which there is a "fundamental unity of creation".

It is an integral world view, "Original", of an ecstatic order, according to which the mineral, vegetable, animal and human world, the subtle world of spirit and divinity exist one within the other and for each other.

Integral derives from the Latin integrim, term consisting of in which stands for not e tang-ere which stands for touch: untouched, from which nothing has been taken away, from which nothing is missing, whole, pure, straightforward, uncorrupted.

With scientific development, humanity has made progress not even remotely imaginable in the pre-scientific era, but for this it has chosen to renounce its integrity, it has had to corrupt, it has had to remove, to become impure.

The emphasis was brought from self-knowledge to knowledge of tools, from learning to know to knowing the other for oneself, from teaching to know oneself to transmit knowledge without teaching how to achieve it.

The Transpersonal Movement

The Transpersonal Movement it recovers the original values of unity and wholeness too long neglected by a dehumanizing technical gaze.

The Integral Vision has its roots in a deeply structured philosophical vision. Part from Greek thought, the original source of all Western thought.

It is inspired by the ancient warning "Know yourselfWhich does not mean withdrawing naively and selfishly into the narrow confines of one's personal history, but to realize that within oneself there is a mysterious world. It is a small metaphor and reflection of the cosmic dimensions of Consciousness or, as the Greeks would say, of the Infinite.

In our days, the Integral Vision can be considered the continuity with the ancient "original tradition" since it is not identified with a scientific thought and with an epistemology, which focus only on matter, losing the knowledge of Self along the way. and consequently the "contact with the divine".

On the contrary, the Integral Vision works for the affirmation of a new gaze on the dominant scientific paradigm and of a new epistemology based on the mastery of inner experience, on participation and sharing; It also does not value the highest and genuinely human qualities such as: love, compassion, awareness, responsibility, trust, acceptance.

It should be noted that having an integral approach does not mean doing a little bit of everything as many believe, and not even practicing a set of integrated techniques, but having a unitary outlook. A look that is expressed through a way of doing, able to recognize and teach to realize the creative potential, the evolutionary drive that every event, crisis, symptom, problem or suffering contains within itself.

Biotransenergetics (BTE)

Biotransenergetics is a transpersonal discipline conceived in the early 80s thanks to a love match between Pier luigi Lattuada, psychotherapist and Marlene Silveira, psychologist, psychotherapist.

Since then, in over forty thousand hours of clinical work at the Om Center in Milan, Pier Luigi Lattuada has perfected the theoretical model and the operating system, creating a methodology based on the perennial philosophy of ancient spiritual traditions and supported by the most recent acquisitions of the new science, research on states of consciousness, integral vision and Transpersonal Gnosis.

The Methodology

Biotransenergetics proposes a methodology based on inner experience and the exploration of the dimensions of consciousness, participation and sharing. It has the intent to realize the awareness that is revealed in the most authentic dimensions of one's Self, beyond the thought processes of the ordinary mind; an integral and transpersonal therapeutic model oriented to the realization of the self, able to intervene effectively in the processes of transformation of consciousness.

It is also a poetic act, it gives value to the symbolic language of the soul and to the analogical codes of nature, a metaphor for the profound feeling of every human being. His intent is to teach to recognize the sacredness of the creative impulse of the living in all its manifestations and to conform to its laws.

Focus of intent

A Biotransenergetics path is suitable for anyone who wants to know their truest nature and the full realization of themselves.
It allows to acquire models and methods, historically and scientifically founded, for the realization of the Self. It also allows the awakening of one's potential (soft skills) and higher quality.

The content

The phenomenology of the states of consciousness is the content on which the Biotransenergetics acts, through the participatory inner experience. With participatory inner experience we define the set of:

  • personal experiences (sensations, moods, emotions, feelings, desires, needs, thoughts, memories, images, intuitions)
  • transpersonal experiences (extra-sensory perceptions, spiritual, mystical, ecstatic experiences, archetypal visions, mythological dreams, revelations, non-ordinary states of consciousness, near-death experiences, etc.).

The context

Il Transpersonal context it signifies the framework within which the transpersonal vision reads events.

Any form of existential discomfort, for Biotransenergetics, is equivalent to a separation from the sacred dimension of existence and the anxiety towards life is experienced as the emergence of an archetype that asks to be recognized and honored. Here, recognizing the transpersonal context is equivalent to recognizing the true nature of the individual. This is always independent of personality and biographical history. It has to do with the “descent of the spirit onto the plane of material reality”, or with the emergence in the “individual psyche of an archetype from the collective unconscious.

Trans Learning

Transe Learning is an integral teaching methodology able to create the conditions for insight, or that understanding of a "new order".

They were already considered by the ancient traditions of humanity as the only way to authentic knowledge which is realized with the whole body, in the cells, as well as in the emotions and in the mind.
A journey through the mastery of the “felt sense” (awareness of proprioceptive, kinesthetic and visceral signals), the ability to pass through wounds (personal emotional history, empathic identification).
ITI-SSLS integrates UU's Learning Design (Facts, Self-Mastery, Impact) with the corpus of maps, models and practices of BTE, Integral Thinking and the wisdom of the ancient wisdom traditions of humanity.

ITI-SSLS

It is designed for young people and for "young" in spirit, who know they come from afar and have a present and a future as protagonists, innovators and creatives.

They can be the vanguards of a new culture of sharing, able to transcend and include dualisms, as well as the differences and conflicts of the system that includes them.

The separation between theory and practice, between mind and body, between action and feeling, between male and female, between past and future, is overcome in a transformative teaching methodology, a further way that teaches how to "make two into one".

Soft skills - Integral Transpersonal Counseling Skills

Un Biotransenergetics path it is, first of all, a journey that accompanies the individual towards himself. It provides him with opportunities and tools to change and to manage change.

From a professional point of view, this is characterized by the acquisition of skills suitable for establishing a counseling relationship with its clients. The counseling relationship is structured as a non-directive helping relationship, based on active and empathic listening. In an atmosphere of attention and respect, he focuses on the "customer" with her needs. It enhances the potential for change, the ability to autonomously identify responses that modify one's own existential situation. In this way it helps him to broaden his vision of the world and consequently his ability to choose.

    Hello my name is Marlene,
I am writing to you because I want a clear summary of the Transpersonal Counseling training course. And precisely:
    - when do the registrations take place in September?
    - what are the subjects of the first year? Is attendance compulsory? And when do the lessons take place, weekend?
    - the cost of the first year of attendance (all cost)? And the cost of the following years. (I need to have a complete picture).
Is there an exam or interview to access? Is my mini degree in social work enough?
    thank you
